I am pleased to say I have finished my first Team Beachbody
challenge group ….. my goal was to lose
15 lbs and…drum roll…I finished at 14.6 lbs lost.! I have wanted those pounds gone for a few
years now – and I just couldn’t get the scale moving in right direction. I don’t know if the success is because of the
group accountability with everyone working together, or the Shakeology – most
likely a combination of both. Praise for whatever the catalyst, I feel so good!
Finally we have some sunshine here! I just finished mowing out side today, and it
was great. I must admit as much as I work for the focus to start consistently
writing here, I just don’t get it done. Sometimes we need to tweak schedules
and our selves to make a goal, and sometimes we must say this goal was just not
realistic at this time. I am just not a writer and after sitting at a computer
in my job for 40 hours a week, it is even tougher. Now that the sun is shining
and gardens are growing, any time I have outside of job and clients,
realistically, I know I am going to be outside working.
Yet, I know there are still people out there like me, who
need to know not to give up. Sensitive people who need someone to help them to
know that it is okay to not make your goals the first time, and it okay to love
yourself unconditionally and not hide away in too many calories. How do I get
what I do everyday to stay focused myself out here to share with you?
I am going to be starting Debbie Fords “The Best Year of
Your Life” course and in the introduction she said to feel free to invite
others to play along with you, so I am thinking how can I do this and share it
with you consistently? My daughter suggested a video blog and I am looking into
that, maybe it will be the medium that works.
Stay tuned.. I will return. :-)
Self-respect is the root of discipline: The sense of dignity grows with the ability to say no to oneself.
